TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1 : Arrive Istanbul - Bursa ( Lunch,Dinner )
Arrive at Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul. Welcome and assist by our English speaking Tour Guide. Upon arrival we depart to Eskihisar and embark on a ferryboat to Yalova, Orhangazi and Gemilik enjoying the countryside followed by a drive to Bursa, enjoying the idyllic scenery, ( around 2 - 5 hours ). Upon arrival to Bursa Silk Market where time will be allocated to shop for local souvenirs. Then transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 : Bursa - Pamukkale ( Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner )
After breakfast at hotel, we will visit Ulu Mosque, Green Mausoleum. After lunch, we drive to Pamukkale. We will tour the Antique City of Hierapolis where Calcareous hot springs descending over cliffs have created fascinating travertines in the form of white terrace and basins. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Pamukkale.
Day 3 : Pamukkale - Konya - Cappadocia ( Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner )
After breakfast, drive to Konya. One of the first centers of population in the history of humankind and was once the famous capital city of the Anatolian Seljuk Empire. Konya is also famous for the Islamic Elders lived here. After visit to Mevlana Museum, in the museum there are properties belonging to Mevlana and other dervishes as well as valuable samples of hand-painted kerchiefs, handwriting, ornaments, wooden work of art and instruments of the Mevleve music, carpets and pileless carpets. Then, proceed to Cappadocia which is considered to be one of the natural wonder of the world with its surrealistic geological creation. A stop will be made at Sultanhani Caravanserai, an outstanding example of the inns used by the traders during the Silk Road and lunch will be served in caravanserai. Dinner and ovrnight at hotel in Cappadocia.
Day 4 : Cappadocia ( Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner )
Enjoy a full day tour through Cappadocia, which boats a unique landscape sculpted by the wind, sun, rain and snow. Its bizarrely shaped pillars, cones and 'fairy chimneys' make fantastic spots for snapshots. Explore the Underground City of Kaymakli, one of the largest underground cities here, said to have existed since the Hittite period. You will get a chance to its bedrooms, kitchens, dining halls, wine cellars, chapels, stables and more. Visit also Uchisar, an old village of small dwellings carved into massive rocks. If time permits, you can visit one if the homes in the contemporary village here and experience life 'on the rocks'. Make photo stops at Valley of the Birds and Uchisar Castle, where you can capture panoramic views of the beautiful plateau. Uchisar - this old village consist of small dwellings carved into huge rock. The contemporary village is at the skirts of the rock. If time permits, you may visit one of these homes and experience life in here. Avanos - a town famous small in pottery and carpets. You may visit one of the factories and learn the art of pottery making carpet weaving.
Day 5 : Cappadocia - Ankara - Bolu ( Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner )
Breakfast at hotel drive to Ankara and transfer to City Center. Ankara can be identified as 'The City of Ataturk' from the very beginning of the founding of the Republic. Visit to the magnificent Mausoleum constructed to the commemorate Ataturk. After the drive to Bolu. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Bolu - Istanbul ( Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner )
After breakfast drive to Istanbul. Upon arrival to Istanbul we will have lunch at local restaurant. Then we visit to the Mosque of Rustem Pasa, famous for most beautiful tiles. Then visit to the Mosque of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and then Mosque of the Ayyaob Al Ansar. Transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 : Istanbul ( Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner )
After breakfast visit Blue Mosque, famous for its blue tiles and unique with its 6 minarets built in the name of Sultan Ahmet. Then Hippodrome - where chariot races and gladiator sports used to take place. Then visit the marvelous oriental Topkapi Palace. Then visit St. Sophia Museum. Then finally drop to the 500 year old Grand Bazaar - a maze of more than 4000 stalls and shop. Transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 8 : Leaving Istanbul Departure ( Breakfast )
After breakfast free time until transfer to airport. Transport to the airport.
